Psychotherapy with Charlotte
I am originally from French/American parents but grew up between New York City and Switzerland. I am fully trilingual (English/French/Spanish) and speak intermediate Russian.

I conducted all my college and university studies in the United Kingdom and have been London based ever since. I hold a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Richmond, The American International University London and a Master’s degree in Criminology from City University London, as well as a Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy and the Therapeutic use of the Arts from the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education (IATE) in London.

Art psychotherapist is a regulated profession and requires a rigorous training, which includes 4+ years of personal therapy.

Since starting my training, I have worked clinically in diverse settings ranging from psychiatric hospitals, prisons, forensic psychiatric settings, and communitybased recovery services with adults in both individual face-to-face work as well as facilitating groupwork.

Post training, I went to live in Indonesia where I volunteered for SLV global, offering Art Therapy to locals. Living in Indonesia, I was able to explore how we might integrate Western Thinking when it comes to mental health with Eastern Spirituality.

Connecting to our inner selves has always been central to my work, and I have always been drawn to eastern approaches to working with the mind, body and soul.

I have always valued cross-cultural competency in my practice and I have wide-ranging experience working with clients of diverse backgrounds. I am also very much committed to working inclusively with individuals of different cultures, genders, sexual orientation and age.

As a trained psychotherapist and art therapist, I am most interested in the integration of art therapy with psychodynamic theory and spirituality. I regularly attend continued professional development trainings to keep up to date with relevant developments in this area as well as neuroscience and bodywork. I abide by the codes of practice and ethics of my membership organizations, HCPC, BAAT and ACTO. I also work with a clinical supervisor who consistently reviews my work.

I hope to provide you with the unique experience of connecting to your truest self, whether through talk therapy or utilizing visual art expression to access and explore the challenging emotions and experiences you may not be able to fully put into words.
